Tour - Kota Raja > Putrajaya

It was a busy with nothing week after Raya Haji .. No cycle2work, it was rain every evening .. so i don't want to risk my health and mc .. and it was also so lazy week .. there is a plan for big ride .. big ride not a big tour .. but this big ride is equal to a tour .. a day bicycle trip to nowhere .. yes nowhere ... ride to norway is later .. 


i noticed that kayuhbeb are going to PD this week .. 2D1N event . PD sound reasonable to ride .. but to get back in a day is a big impossible for me .. one way ticket is 115km .. return back ?!! culculate yourself lahhh ..

klang - putrajaya tour is in the 2013 touring calendar .. hmm seem i could join kayuhbeb halfway to olak lempit or kota warisan before split from them .. they straight to PD and me myself divert to putrajaya .. yesss .. sneek out their plan and route .. 0700hrs take off from shah alam .. RV point 1 at rebak bay jalan kebun .. perfect lah .. so i could ride to jalan kebun and join with them there .. no arrangement was made .. just hope to meet them at the said place at the said time ..

but who will join me from kota raja ? hmmm .. no one to expect .. put on a notice in rotor x team page .. to see who will respond .. few has seen and no comment .. ok ... later, bro wahid comment .. Keghoje lerrr .. hampesshhhh .. i know lahhh .. ok .. will be alone tour lah this time .. late in the midnite, received a text from raja hassan .. look like he is interested to abuse and torch himself .. good !!!

the S Day

sharp 0700hrs raja arrived .. and i'm about to mount the pannier to the bicycle .. relax .. they will be delay to take off .. no worries .. it is expected . 0730hrs we move from kota raja and stop for breakfast at teluk menegun .. light breakfast .. roti telur and nescafe tarik .. 0800 hrs we continue to meeting point .. it was long rain last nite .. and it's flood in jalan kebun .. few houses next to the river was affected .. but this far the road are safe until we pass the the junction to kem jati ..

the water level are not so high .. but cannot cross when there were other vehicles .. wait til the right moment .. and we cross safely .. good one .. later after few hundreds metre the was another section cut with water this time seem like quite high and wide .. and the traffic are not stoppable ..

blank about few minutes .. to cross or not to cross .. and how to cross safe and dry .. not complete dry lah .. hmm .. and no go this time .. we have to reroute to other alternative ... if there is one .. lucky for us .. there is one .. feel so proud and smart about that .. we manage to reach at the other side .. but not exactly to the main road .. that another offroad lead to the main road ..

but it was written that we must ride in the water this morning .. there is a malay wise said .. keluar dari mulut buaya, masuk ke mulut naga ..

Rebak Bay

hmm .. no sign of riders here .. the watch show 0900hrs .. chait .. of course they living already .. take five .. and we cotinue the ride behind kayuhbeb .. no attention to chase .. we just ride with our own
phase .. ride and ride and ride .. thru tanah perkuburan jalan kebun baru till jenjarom ..   


Warung Samurai

While resting at the warung .. suddenly we saw kayuhbeb team ride accross .. couldn't recognise the riders .. to fast .. afeter few minutes .. then come abg din and chef rashi .. they also very fast .. perghhh .. maybe they break some where else when we cut over them ..

We continue the ride to Dengkil .. after olak lempit furnishing industrial the landscape changing a bit .. more hilly with small and short climb and down .. for about 7 km .. across oil palm plantation till Paya Indah Wetland .. then we arrive to Dengkil around 11 o'clock .. the day was hot .. rest about 15 minutes at the petrol station .. we ride to PCP for long break until zuhr ..

it was cloudy when we start the ride back to klang . the route back is not the way we come earlier .. we choosed to ride via Cyberjaya, Putra Perdana, Kampung Lombing and Kota Kemuning before we took KESAS to klang .. the rain was pouring down while we stop for lunch in Cyberjaya .. and it seem like not to stop .. so after wait for a while .. then we continue the journey in the rain .. not so heavy, but the road are wet and slick .. we have to pay for extra precaution .. the ride back was smooth .. it was less traffic on the road .. while in putra perdana we stop by to visit my old buddy .. bad pookaw .. and a rider like me .. we start touring early day in 2009 and keep on riding until now .. but not riding together anymore .. he told me that mat yie is on the way .. so we wait for mat yie
to arrive before i fled back ...

we cross the D'Island residence toward kampung lombong ... the D'Island is developed next to the biggest lake in Puchong .. the lake was potential as a water recreation spot in the future .. a powerboat team has used the lake for testing the boat .. and it is also suitable for sailing as well ..

kampung lombong is next to jalan kebun and look like an extention of jalan kebun as well .. even they are connected .. it was divided under different district .. i'm not sure wether the kampung lombong is puchong or klang .. jalan kebun last time was klang .. but now they are shah alam .. the environment are same .. kampung style with house lots .. in distance .. it is 19 km to klang city.

we turn to kota kemuning to get to KESAS highway .. the pressure is less while ride back home .. even we were tired, but the feeling ride in the evening and in the rain are such an experience .. our ride together end at the bandar botanik .. split here .. when raja turn to pandamaran, while i turn to kota raja .. unofficial milage are about 120km +- .. whole day ride and 2 hours rest on the afternoon ..

we aim to ride in Broga in near future .. same distance, just difference landscape .. until the next ride ..
