View Touring Klang > Kuala Selangor in a larger map
The morning sky was clear, sign of the bright day. The bike and I was ready for the touring to Kuala Selangor. As planned, Bad arrived from Puchong at 0730hrs. He looked eagerly to ride that day. Must be well prepared and to show off this time, I guess.

Sharp 0800hrs, the ride start heading to Klang for breakfast. Huh!! Since the day look to good to ride, we are lazily enjoy the nasi lemak and nescafe ais. No pressure, no torture. But we have set the ride should be complete within 2 riding hours and reach Kuala Selangor before 1200hrs. The distance would be 45km one way.

On the flyover to cross Lebuhraya Selat Klang

From Klang we took Jalan Goh Hock Huat heading to north, crossing Lebuh Selat Klang to old Jalan Kapar. The road lead the way till Klang Perdana and further. But from Klang Perdana it is no longer called Jalan Kapar but Jalan Keretapi Lama. The old road is side by side with the new main road, which also known as Jalan Kapar, but crossing the kampung area. After an hour ride, we arrived Kapar and took a break.

The hill repeatedly attacked and conquered by Dutch, Sultanate of Selangor and British from 1784 till 1824.

The Kuala Selangor beach is fill with mangroves swamp. A 2.4 kilometers squared of the swamps was gazette as reserved area rich with variety of birds.  It is also a transit point for migration birds and a home for lighting bugs or else known as fireflies. The reserve area was named Taman Alam Kuala Selangor. Facilitate with chalets, camping area and watch towers for birding activities.
